Brush hogging is brush cutting or rough cutting mowing, leaving 1"-3" material standing. It’s a form of landscaping that eliminates heavy brush to prepare land for farming, hunting, development, and a variety of other uses.

Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation and touches the ground. A forestry mulching machine can be referred to as: forestry mulcher, forest masticator or brush cutter. Our forestry mulcher uses a rotary drum equipped with steel chipper tools ("teeth")  to shred vegetation.
